In the special feature of the opening page in the March 2021 issue of SAMURAI ASIA magazine linked with the interview video, we will introduce the compressor "UX: Case Study", the product handled by YN 2-TECH led by MD Ryota Nakamura.

The guests are the following: Masayoshi Shimada, the Factory Manager of Siam Fuji Ware (Headquarter: FUJIHORO / Fuji Porcelain Enamel Co., Ltd. / Founded in 1947), where the compressor is installed, and MD Takahiro Tomita and Shigeki Takada who are in charge of sales at Anest Iwata Southeast Asia, the compressor manufacturer and distributor.

“Our company mainly manufactures and sells mainstream cookware,” says Factory Manager Shimada.

The products that Siam Fuji Ware manufactures in Thailand are truly orthodox enamel products such as cups and pots. However, they also work on special products such as famous brands and characters that anyone has seen at least once in Japan, as well as enamel dials used in luxury watches. 　

Factory Manager Shimada explains how Siam Fuji Ware decided to install the compressor from Anest Iwata. "The compressor we originally brought to Thailand from Japan got old and was damaged, so we were looking for a new compressor on the Internet. During the process, we encountered it on Anest Iwata's homepage and contacted them.”

MD Tomita of Anest Iwata Southeast Asia introduced the YN2-TECH with MD Nakamura to Mr. Shimada, who was looking for a "trading company with light footwork and engineering work together", and then the cooperation system of the three companies in Thailand started.

Mr. Takada, sales representative, talks about the selection of compressors. "Older compressors consume a lot of power. Hearing their wish to reduce the cost of electricity at the factory, we selected our compressors accordingly.”

Compressors are essential for supplying air as a source of energy for factories. Anest Iwata also proposed replacing the dryer because there is a risk that the compressor's compressed air will be mixed with "water", an impurity, when it enters the production line.

The compressor installation was carried out smoothly during the New Year's three-day break.

"Right after the installation, it took some time to get used to it, but now it is working without a problem. Above all, clean air is coming out and the number of defects has decreased," says Factory Manager Shimada.

MD Tomita says, "Our engineers visit customers on a regular basis, and if there is a problem with the machine, we will immediately perform maintenance and repair."

Joined Anest Iwata in 1997 with 2 years in Marketing and 10 years in Development. He mainly conducted recruitment surveys to make European OEM equipment to Japanese specifications. After that, he was assigned to the United States through "Service". He has been stationed in Thailand since 2018.

After that, he was moved to Marketing and worked on sales promotion in collaboration with branch offices around the world. He was assigned to Thailand in 2019 as a sales representative.

"We delivered two of our LRL-370 to Siam Fuji Ware. It is a previous model product. Although inverter types are the mainstream in the market, as the Factory Manager Shimada preferred a compressor that can be used with confidence, thus we proposed a load/unloading type.
