Tokyo Seimitsu and ACCRETECH(Thailand) respond to the needs of precise measurement in Thailand with precise measuring instruments including three-dimensional coordinate measuring machines. This time, we interviewed two of our Japanese and Thai sales staff from these companies in the show room of Amata City Industrial Estate.

◇ Could you please tell us your representative products?

Mr. Takeda: We are handling various precise measuring instruments, but I will introduce 3 products that we would like you to pay special attention to.

Three-dimensional coordinate measuring machines XYZAX AXCEL

High-precision CNC three-dimensional coordinate measuring machines boasting excellent environment resistance with accuracy assured temperatures of 15～30℃.
It has a structure used to measure that does not transmit heat (temperature change) to the measurement points and does not transmit vibration with a tough bridge. The reading function of 3D CAD is originally equipped, and the program can be made by PC.

Measuring instruments for the surface roughness SURFCOM TOUCH

Thai language is originally equipped! The measuring instruments pursued maximum usability for customers. It is equipped with a 7 inch wide touch panel and an interface that is intuitive and easy to operate.

Thai language is originally equipped! It is a new product sold in 2019 having both a high resolution and a wide measuring range, though it is light and small.

Mr. Thanapon: It is an important point that allows us to operate using the Thai language. It is easy to use for the staff in charge of measurement at the site, and they are feeling an affinity with it.

The showroom in Amata City Industrial Estate was established to provide detailed support at a place close to the customers!

◇ Could you also tell us about the showroom?

Mr. Takeda: The showroom is in the Amata City Industrial Estate, where the factories from many companies gather. So not only the customers who are considering to purchase, but also problems at a time of using after purchasing can be solved by actually operating the product in the showroom. We would like them to utilize it as a place that they can easily visit.

Mr. Thanapon: Around 1 year has passed since we established the showroom. I think there are still many people that do not know about our showroom. I will keep trying my best to support closely from a place close to the customers under the two base system of the Bangkok office and Amata City.

◇ Thinking from a sales point of view, what is the strength of Tokyo Seimitsu and ACCRETECH (Thailand)?

Mr. Thanapon: The strength of our three-dimensional coordinate measuring machines is the combination of having Japanese quality, which always requires high standards, the latest German technology, and the service which is suited to the Thai climate. We are exchanging information about technology and the market that has lead to our growth among the business partnerships with the Carl Zeiss Company over the last 25 years.

Mr. Takeda: The number of staff in charge of service in our company is more than 10, including Japanese and Thai staff. To be able to provide detailed service is also our strength.
And also about the software, we can propose an IoT promotion on the measurement. There are many sites in Thailand who are writing the measurement results by hand, but if utilizing our inspection sheet making program “TESCHART Plus”, the data from many measuring instruments can be installed in excel and integrated promptly. The introduction of IoT will be absolutely necessary in Thailand for efficiency, labor savings, and reducing mistakes.
First, we will provide a proposal and support to the customers to proceed with the introduction of IoT from easy parts.
