Thermosetting plastics

It hardens when heated and does not melt or return to its original state when heated again. It has extremely high heat resistance and mechanical strength, and because it can be used as a metal substitute, it is used in a wide range of industrial precision parts.

【Main materials handled】
・PF (phenolic resin/Bakelite)
Widely used as a molding material because it is flam-retardant, well-balanced as a resin, and relatively inexpensive while excelling in heat resistance, strength, and electrical insulation properties. Bakelite interwoven with paper or cloth is also available.

・POM (epoxy resin)
Good electrical insulation, dimensional stability, and chemical resistance. Good adhesion to other materials. Used for electrical component connectors, powder coating, capacitors, etc.
