Utilizing Cosmo Instruments' air leak testing technology and knowledge developed over the past 50 years, Cosmo Wave has developed the air leak tester "EV Series" to meet the growing demand for EV production worldwide. Introducing the excellent features of the "LS-R902EV" and "AL-R302EV" air leak testers.

3. Test pressure fluctuation correction *AL-R302EV

The test pressure fluctuation correction function eliminates measurement errors caused by test pressure fluctuations. If a product under test leaks, the pressure inside the product will be lower than the specified level. As the pressure drops, so does the leakage. As a result, defect products will be judged as acceptable. Even if the pressure fluctuates from the specified value, this function allows correct compensation of the leakage amount. In addition, even if the pressure inside the product drops rapidly, it will be judged as defect immediately.

4. Actual volumetric flow rate display

The Two EV Series leak testers display actual volumetric flow rate in any test environment. The leakage results can also be displayed in converted flow rates such as mL/min (20°C), or in pressure units such as Pa.

Other features include a bypass circuit that utilizes a large amount of air pressure to reduce the time required to build pressure up to a given value. The LS-R902EV can also be used to perform leak test for cooling systems.

Reducing false judgments and realizing highly accurate leak tests

The air leak tester "EV Series" was developed to reduce false detections in leak test and to be more practical in the automotive industry. This enables accurate leak test of products with high-capacity and low test-voltage, such as EV batteries. Cosmowave will continue to develop better products that are useful for manufacturing sites.

The Company will take precautionary measures against the loss, destruction, tampering, and leakage of personal information through appropriate system maintenance of the operating system and education of employees.

Request for Notification, Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use of Personal Information

In the case the Company receives request from the individual user regarding the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or erasure of personal information, stoppage of use by a third party or notification of use, after confirmation that the requester is the individual user, the Company will respond without delay in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.

Note that in the case that the request does not meet the requirements stipulated by the Personal Data Protection Act, or the reason to reject such request is permitted by the Personal Data Protection Act or other laws and regulations, the request may not be fulfilled.

In addition, there is no payment required or fees associated with the request for disclosure by the individual user. However, the cost of communication from the individual user to the Company, transportation expenses, and expenses associated with the preparation of materials for the purposes of individual identification will be the responsibility of the individual user.

Revision of Privacy Policy: The Company will review the operational status of the handling of personal information and make efforts for continuous improvement, and may change the Policy as necessary. After such changes to the Policy, the Policy will be published on the Company’s website.
