Takamatsu Machinery

The "E-Loader" is an MC built-in transfer device developed in-house as an automatic transfer device that can be mounted on Enshu's machining centers (MCs). It is attracting attention from people involved in the Thai manufacturing industry as a device that enables the automatic transfer of workpieces between multiple MCs connected to the machine, making it easy to save space and manpower.

vertical MC WE30ve

The product was completed by connecting the "WE30ve", an Enshu vertical MC equipped with the E-Loader, to the “XT-6”, a precision CNC lathe from Takamatsu Machinery (hereinafter referred to as “TAKAMAZ”). On this occasion, we interviewed Mr. Takabayashi, Senior Sales Manager of ENSHU (Thailand) Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Enshu (Thailand)"), and Mr. Nobuhiro Takamatsu of TAKAMATSU MACHINERY (THAILAND) CO., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Takamatsu Machinery (Thailand)").

Takabayashi (honorifics title omitted): Depending on the shape of the workpiece to be machined, such as a cylindrical material, it may be necessary to cut it with a lathe and then bring it to the MC. In the past, a workpiece was transferred between the lathe and MC using workers, robots, gantry loaders, etc. Now, with the cooperation of Takamatsu Machinery (Thailand), we were able to develop a system that can automatically transfer workpieces from a CNC lathe directly to te MC. Our MC "WE30ve" was connected to the CNC lathe "XT-6" manufactured by Takamatsu Machinery TAKAMAZ.

The WE30ve has a built-in E-Loader, so there is no problem in connecting with Enshu’s own MCs, but connecting to MCs from other manufacturers, let alone to lathes of different purposes, TAKAMAZ XT-6 was the best choice for this concept. Although the XT-6 and WE30ve have different modes of transportation, they share the same concept of automatically picking up and dropping off workpieces, which made it easy to develop a connection between the two different types of machines. The idea is to set up a workpiece platform in the middle of the two machines, through which the workpiece transfer is exchanged. We are glad to have such an exhibition with the cooperation of Takamatsu Machinery (Thailand).

Takamatsu:In the Thai market, our main products are manual lathes such as the GSL series, but in the Japanese domestic market, we have been proposing "labor-saving and automation" from early on by installing our in-house developed loader "Σi loader" and have accumulated a large number of delivery records. This time, we were wondering how to promote the latest model of the X series, “XT-6”, in the Thai market, when we received a proposal from Enshu to dock the E-Loader with the XT-6, for which we are very grateful.

Although there are some differences in the machining contents between Enshu and us, we share some common concepts in the same machine tool industry. We would be more than happy to propose "machines that can earn profit" to all customers by transmitting transport and delivery, the specialty of both of our companies, from “Thailand”, the center of ASEAN.

I hope everything that comes out of ENSHU X TAKAMAZ will be successful!
