The small machining center “WE30Ve” at Enshu (Thailand) offers comfortable working environment and high efficiency. This news article will introduce BANGKOK ENSHU MACHINERY which produces “WE30Ve”, our main sales product manufactured only in Thailand, by interviewing 2 representatives, Mr. Harada and Mr. Oba.
(Left) Mr. Hiroyuki Harada：He entered Enshu, Ltd. in 1992. In 2003, he worked as a member of starting up BANGKOK ENSHU MACHINERY. Later, he worked as an expatriate in Indonesia and Vietnam. In 2015, he finally fulfilled his long-term goal to work for BANGKOK ENSHU MACHINERY. As a senior manager, he works hard on site management and training successors.
(Right) Mr. Yasuyuki Oba：He entered Enshu, Ltd. in 2006. He worked for developing machining center and specialized machines at machine tool department. He has been assigned in BANGKOK ENSHU MACHINERY since 2013. As a senior manager, his main task is purchasing parts. He works to reduce cost of machines and for site management.

BANGKOK ENSHU MACHINERY mainly does 1) manufacturing of machining centers, 2) system engineering of Enshu (Thailand) sales products and 3) casting processing and its sales for Enshu Japan.
We, “BANGKOK ENSHU MACHINERY” was established in 2004 as a manufacturing section of Enshu (Thailand), Ltd. BANGKOK ENSHU MACHINERY mainly does 1) manufacturing of machining centers, 2) system engineering of Enshu (Thailand) sales products and 3) casting processing and its sales for Enshu Japan.
◆“WE30Ve 2APC Spec” is made in Thailand and also the top sales product there. Your company is the manufacturing site for this product and headquarter must have large expectations on you. What do you think of this point?
As a manufacturing site, you can see many “WE30Ve” everywhere.
OBA：Of course, we are excited about it, but at the same time, we have responsibilities to deliver high quality products in a tight deadline to those who choose our products. Therefore, I try to regularly “confirm,” “contact” and “report” regarding parts procurement of machining centers, which is I’m in charge of, and schedules of development and assembly processes.
HARADA：I’m in charge of controlling production planning of machining center assembly and machine processing products and quality control. Mr. Oba and I brought a unity in the company by having close communication with site staffs and it helped us build good relationship with them. With all the staffs, we would like to satisfy our customers in all aspects including “quality” and “delivery deadlines” in the future.
OBA：In order to actualize “limited time delivery”, it is necessary to increase the ratio of local procurement from local parts suppliers for machining centers and control schedules by mainly GEMBA staffs. From now on, we want to even improve these points.

◆In addition to building good relationship with your staffs, your big advantage is that Thailand is solely responsible for all production processes of machining centers.
HARADA：Indeed. Regarding “WE30Ve” produced only in Thai factory in particular, we believe that we can provide good service in maintenance to our customers.
OBA：Also, we have parts stock of our machines. We can handle urgent cases of delivering parts.
