The new series "Saving Center" is launched in 2024.

The vertical machining center “SV130“ customized to spindle speed of 50,000 rpm for micro-machining of semiconductors, jewelry, watch parts, and other fine components

Vertical machining center "SV130" features a compact design with a #15 spindle, yet it boasts a wide machining area and capable of machining fine, small holes at high speed.

In addition to its space-saving and energy-saving features as the Saving Center, the SV130 can be customized to a 50,000-rpm spindle.

The standard setting is 20,000 rpm for automotive parts machining, which is very common in Thailand, but it can be customized to 50,000 rpm with a spindle and cooling system to enable high-speed micro-machining.

What are the advantages of 50,000-rpm spindle?
✔ High-speed machining reduces cutting and cycle times
✔ Longer tool life
✔ Capable of machining high-hardness materials and hard-to-cut materials
　Examples: ceramics, glass, resins, cemented carbide

The strength of Enshu's SV130 is that it is compact and has no extra functions, so it can do 50,000 rpm at an affordable price. Machines with these features are still rare in the market. In Thailand, there are many cases where machining is performed at less than the optimal 50,000 rpm, even for applications that could benefit from the higher speed.

Enshu has been producing vertical machining centers at its Thai factory, but will begin full-scale production of horizontal machining centers in 2024.

Demo machine tours and test machining are now available!

Both of the two models of the Saving Center Series introduced here are on display at Enshu factory in Thailand as demo machines.
