eCELL a putrefaction smell prevention device that removes odor components contained in drainage

“METALEX 2019”, the largest machine tool trade show in Southeast Asia, will open on November 20. Our company will exhibit mainly the industrial filter "FILSTAR", which filters impurities by its unique water flow control. In addition, we will exhibit "eCELL", a putrefaction smell prevention device that removes odor components contained in drainage. We will also propose a new water treatment method in combination with FILSTAR.

Deodorizing by sterilizing bacteria in coolant solution with copper ions

eCELL is a smell prevention device that utilizes copper ions, known for their high sterilizing power. For example, no matter how clean FILSTAR removes impurities from wastewater coming out of the factory, it is not possible to remove the source of the odor that lurks in the liquid. Actually, the cause of the smell is bacteria. The smell around the water is most likely due to this.

A high-purity copper plate is installed inside the device, and by energizing, copper ions are generated. This sterilizes the bacteria. Since the switch of + (plus) and－(minus) can be made with one switch, it also leads to the saving of copper by switching alternately. Only simple maintenance to replace the copper plate once a year is required under normal use. This device was originally developed and used as a smell prevention device in the parent company of our company. Our company has made it our product and available to many people since we wanted them to experience it. It has already been proven that using it together with FILSTAR can produce a synergistic effect on water treatment.

The number of bacteria in the coolant solution in the tank has been reduced by using eCELL. Reduce the putrefaction smell by decreasing the number of bacteria, which are the source of the putrefactive smell.

As environmental awareness increases worldwide, we believe that our mission is to support the realization of a comfortable production environment and living environment.
