Kitagawa Chuck × DMG MORI Turning Center | 105 mm Through-Hole Chuck for Large-Diameter Parts – Enabling Versatile Machining Capabilities

DMG Mori Seiki (Thailand), the Thai subsidiary of Japan’s leading machine tool manufacturer DMG MORI, provides sales and after-sales maintenance services for a wide range of machine tools in Thailand. In September last year, DMG MORI launched its new turning center, the “NLX2500 2nd Generation.” In response, Kitagawa developed dedicated power chucks — the “HGGH85-254” and “HGGH83-210” — specifically designed for this model.

This article introduces the features of a newly developed power chuck specifically designed for DMG MORI’s “NLX2500｜700” turning center, which enables the machining of large-diameter components thanks to its 105 mm through-hole.
