About KWE-Kintetsu World Express (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
Our Company, Kintetsu World Express, Inc. has been expending our distribution bases all over the world as the international comprehensive distribution service company since our establishment in 1948. We established our local subsidiary in Thailand in 1989. In 2011 we integrated with TKK Logistic, a local distribution company in Thailand. As KWE Group, in 2015, we added APL Logistics (herein after referred to as “APLL”), which has developed their business in 60 countries worldwide, with Singapore base as their main base, and we are strengthening the distribution system continuously.

Transport to the United States of America and strengthening cross-border distribution
Our Group Company recently started our expansion strategy by the aforesaid acquisition of APLL, which has strong connections with shipping companies in Europe and America, and they have a good business record in the logistics business. Our main clients are companies related to automobiles and electronic equipment. On the other hand, the main clients of APLL are apparel and commodity companies. Since the clients of our Company and APLL are different, our relationship is very complementary to each other. The main clients of Kintetsu Express require air cargo transport, and now the marine freight forwarding and logistics services of APLL are added to our business. We may further strengthen our system, with transport to America as the center of our new system. We have secured space in aircrafts and ships, and such system has led to the improvement of our price competitive power. Also, through the acquisition of APLL, our composition of sales has changed. Until now, the amount of air cargo transport occupied 53.8% of total sales, and logistics only 11.4%. However, since APLL joined, the sales of air cargo transport now account for 35.8%, and the logistics has increased to 36.5%. Thus, we have achieved a well-balanced sales' composition. Owing to this adjustment, we have strengthened the air cargo transport sector, ASEAN land transportation, and marine freight forwarding; therefore, we have built very solid foundation.

We have a solid system and will further develop new services.
We established the “New mid-term management plan for three years” from 2016 to 2018, and the transportation service to North America is high added-value business, such as automobiles and electrical equipment, has continued to expand smoothly. “Bangkok Gateway Services” that collects cargo from Southeast Asian countries for sending by consolidated shipments to America has been going well, and these services have contributed to the expansion of transport to North America. Furthermore, throughout the year, since we secure space in aircraft for our shipments, our price competitive power has increased. For marine freight forwarding, we feel that since we load only KWE cargo for our transportation service to Japan, we appeal with our strong point. Since the start of the ASEAN Economic Community, the demand has increased and we have arranged a cross-border truck transportation system appropriately. In December 2017, we started the operation of the No. 2 Warehouse in the Industrial Park at Prachin Buri. This is the comprehensive distribution center and provides a container depot, packaging factory, distribution center, and warehousing facilities; therefore, we are confident that we can provide a high quality one-stop service.

The business of our Company is a service business, thus, our human resources have become very important. We encourage our human resources in order to strengthen our organizational power, and we provide our clients with the highest quality services for their satisfaction. From now we would like to be the company and organization which can obtain the “trust” of our clients.
