MAYEKAWA (THAILAND) is a Japanese manufacturing and engineering company of industrial refrigeration. Their products and services have established trust from customers continuously until now. We visited one of MAYEKAWA’s customers, Thai Delmar and asked why they choose Mayekawa’s product.

Thai Delmar Co., Ltd was established in 1989 and has been in business for over 30 years. They are a joint venture between Thailand and Japan. The factory is located in Samut Prakan Province. They produce high-quality seafood products and frozen seafood glazed/breaded made from carefully selected white fish and shrimp. Their products are exported to the markets of Japan, Asia, and Southeast Asia and sold in Thailand market.

“We were looking for new cooling system based on three factors: “safety”, “efficiency”, and “after-sales service”. Considering these three factors, the cooling system "NewTon" from MAYEKAWA (THAILAND) was the best answer to our needs.”

Thai Delmar Co., Ltd chose to use the cooling system "NewTon" from MAYEKAWA (THAILAND).

When Thai Delmar decided to relocate their factory, Thai Delmar considered to select new cooling system based on three factors. They are “safety”, “efficiency”, and “after-sales service”. Considering these three factors, they recognized that the cooling system "NewTon" from MAYEKAWA (THAILAND) was the best answer to their needs. Thai Delmar also came to believe the indirect cooling method called Ammonia/CO2 cooling system proposed by Mayekawa had an advantage in that respect. MAYEKAWA (THAILAND) had a lot of expertise in this kind of system.

Thai Delmar has used the "NewTon R-6000" for their cold storage to keep the temperature at the required levels. Quantity of ammonia charge in this unit is 42 kg only. In addition, the screw compressor is semi-hermetic type, it minimizes the risk of leakage of ammonia from the part of mechanical seal of the compressor.

This screw compressor itself has been developed for “NewTon”, and it also operates with a newly developed IPM motor. Thus, this new development also improves the COP of the ammonia system. As the system is automatically controlled by the inverter, high efficiency operation can be maintained even under low load condition. Moreover, unlike the conventional system, pure CO2 refrigerant without oil circulates in the evaporators of the cold storage. Therefore, the efficiency of the evaporator will not decline due to accumulation of oil inside the system.
