Phosphorus copper brazing

It is mainly used for joining copper and copper alloys. Phosphorus has a "self-fluxing action" that reduces the oxide film on the surface of the base metal during brazing, so in the case of welding and joining pure copper, the flux is not needed. Another feature is that it is relatively low in cost despite having the same effect as silver brazing.
