Its slim-body design is ideal for avoiding interference in wall-side machining and supports drilling, reaming, and 5-axis finishing with end mills. Although it shares the common shape of shrink-fit chucks frequently used in mold machining, it has the major advantage of not requiring heat during tool clamping. This makes handling easier and safer, while eliminating the need for heating devices—one of the reasons it has become increasingly popular in Thailand.
