The Slim Hydro Chuck “PHC・SB,” part of NT-TOOL’s Hydro Chuck series, is the best match for Makino machining centers and has seen growing adoption throughout Southeast Asia.

The combination of Makino’s high-precision, high-rigidity machining centers—well-regarded for mold processing—and the Slim Hydro Chuck makes this an excellent solution for factories requiring top-level accuracy.

Its slim-body design is ideal for avoiding interference in wall-side machining and supports drilling, reaming, and 5-axis finishing with end mills. Although it shares the common shape of shrink-fit chucks frequently used in mold machining, it has the major advantage of not requiring heat during tool clamping. This makes handling easier and safer, while eliminating the need for heating devices—one of the reasons it has become increasingly popular in Thailand.
