
In addition to developing and manufacturing advanced machine tools to meet the evolving needs of the manufacturing industry, OKUMA Techno (Thailand) is also strongly committed to delivering high-quality after-sales service.
In Thailand, we operate two official OKUMA machine repair and maintenance centers: The main service center located in Bangkok, and a satellite service center located in Pinthong, Chonburi.
We also have a dedicated service team of more than 30 engineers, divided into the following roles:
・Onsite Service : Providing maintenance and repair services directly at the customer’s factory
・Admin Service : Handling service requests, coordinating repair schedules, and managing spare parts inventory
Among these 30+ staff members, senior expert engineers from OKUMA Japan are regularly assigned to Thailand to provide technical consultation and advanced troubleshooting support. For our Thai engineers, we conduct annual technical training programs in Japan, where selected staff are sent to the company’s headquarters to enhance their machine repair and diagnostic skills.
To ensure complete and reliable after-sales service and maintenance, OKUMA Techno (Thailand) has established five dedicated service rooms to support various repair operations. The details are as follows: 2. Service Room 3. Spindle Repair Room

NC Training Room OKUMA Techno (Thailand) operates a dedicated showroom with a 300-square-meter floor area, where customers can visit, view, and directly interact with actual machines. The showroom features a rotating lineup of equipment, including: 5-axis machining centers, 3-axis machining centers, standard turning machines and turn-mill machines, various other OKUMA models on display. In addition, the showroom is equipped to support cutting and machining test demonstrations using sample workpieces. It also serves as a venue for seminars and Open House events throughout the year, held in collaboration with our industry partners.

Comprehensive After-Sales Support with Five Specialized Service Laboratories
1. Spare Parts Stock Room
This temperature-controlled storage room houses over 1,400 types and more than 3,000 units of machine spare parts, including: 1,000 types of mechanical parts, 400 types of electrical components. The room is maintained at 25°C around the clock to preserve product quality and extend part lifespan.
All spare parts are genuine ORIGIN parts, imported directly from OKUMA Japan and Tatung-Okuma (Taiwan). Every part comes with a 6-month warranty from the date of delivery, with free replacement for defective items.

This 200㎡-service workspace is equipped to handle various types of OKUMA machine repairs, including: Spindle repair, small and large cross-slide repair, turret component replacement, disassembly and part refurbishment, such repair work requires technical expertise and precision, and we have skilled service engineers and specialized tools to ensure high-quality repair outcomes.

This newly established spindle-specific repair room supports spindle servicing for: BT40, HSK A63 with maximum operating speeds of up to 20,000 RPM. Previously, these spindles could only be repaired in Japan, but with our local repair capability in Thailand, customers benefit from: reduced repair costs, significantly shorter turnaround time.

This room supports repair of drive units such as: MDU, PSU, PSDU. We maintain over 300 parts and specialized tools, with a typical repair time of 3–5 days. Before repair, the cooling system components (e.g., cooling fans) are automatically replaced with new units. After repair, operational testing is performed in a machine-simulated environment, and a 6-month warranty is provided.

We conduct monthly training courses for machine operators.
The course includes: introduction to M-code and G-code programming, machine operation functions, basic troubleshooting skills, training is supported with Thai-language training manual "NC Master", Actual OKUMA machines for hands-on practice. Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course.

Our Service Department is committed to continuously enhancing after-sales service capabilities. Alongside the establishment of specialized repair rooms, we place great emphasis on developing the technical expertise of our engineers, ensuring they are fully proficient in operating and maintaining OKUMA equipment.
At METALEX 2025, scheduled for November, we will showcase our Service Zone to demonstrate our technical expertise in machine maintenance and repair. We will also exhibit key models including: MU-500V, MB-46VE, LB3000EX
