TRUE Okura Co., Ltd., the local subsidiary of Okura Yusoki, provides material handling equipment, including logistics robots, to the Thai logistics market. By accelerating automation in logistics environments and promoting labor and manpower savings through the "Okura Material Handling System", we aim to achieve stable operations and efficient logistics.

In recent years, the demand for easy automation of palletizing lightweight items has been growing due to labor shortages in logistics and manufacturing environments. Therefore, we would like to introduce the "EasyPAL", a simple and user-friendly palletizing system that utilizes a collaborative robot (COBOT).

COBOT Saves Space and Eliminates the Need for Safety Fences

Traditionally, palletizing systems have predominantly relied on powerful industrial robots with high capabilities. However, these industrial robots require safety fences to prevent unauthorized access, making installation challenging in spaces with limited room. A collaborative robot offers a solution to this issue.

"EasyPAL" does not require a safety fence, occupies minimal installation space, and can be implemented in the current workspace. Since a safety fence is unnecessary, it can be relocated to the required production line. It delivers optimal performance with simple installation tasks.

Teaching Robots Made Easy!
“OXPA-QmC”, Okura's Proprietary Palletizing Software

The key feature of "EasyPAL" is its incorporation of the palletizing-specific software "OXPA-QmC", which is based on Okura's proprietary offline teaching software, "OXPA-Qm". This software is renowned for its exceptional ease of use in the industry. "OXPA-QmC" is designed to enable even inexperienced operators to teach the robot how to palletize with ease. By creating palletizing programs on a computer, anyone can perform teaching effortlessly. Users simply input data about the items being conveyed—such as dimensions, weight, center of gravity, and label positions—and select the stacking pattern. The programming data is then automatically generated.
