Flashing signal lights are essential for hazard warnings on construction sites. They must provide excellent weather resistance and remain clearly visible from a distance. Patlite now introduces the new GL10” rotating warning light , engineered for outstanding durability and designed for optimal performance in outdoor and harsh environments.
The “GL10” is engineered to withstand harsh environments while maintaining excellent visibility, even in blazing sunlight. Built to endure intense vibration and impact, it ensures reliable operation under severe conditions. Additionally, it offers dust resistance and can withstand fluctuations in temperature and humidity.
Main Features
• Vibration resistance: 110 m/s²
• Shock resistance: 1,000 m/s²
• IP69K rating ensures enhanced dustproof and waterproof performance, suitable for high-pressure cleaning
• Operating temperature range: –40 °C to +85 °C
• Ventilation function prevents fogging caused by condensation
Furthermore, the GL10 rotating warning light can indicate status using the following three colors:
• Green: Safe
• Yellow: Caution
• Red: Danger
Users can use these colors for status indication and customize each one with a different flash pattern.
In addition to its excellent weather resistance, the “GL10” delivers outstanding visibility even in blazing sunlight. Its light signal covers a wide area and remains visible from as far as 100 meters away. The specially designed lens disperses light efficiently, maximizing brightness while minimizing heat generation.
Two control options are available: CAN communication type and voltage-application control type.
CAN Communication Type
• Compatible with construction machinery via the CAN communication protocol (supports SAE J1939)
• Enables selection of 13 flash patterns and 4 dimming levels through communication control
• Allows monitoring and reception of light color status and flash patterns over CAN communication
• Automatically detects and connects at 250 kbps or 500 kbps
Voltage-Application Control Type
• Non-communication type; controllable via conventional voltage application
• Features three enhanced, pre-set flash patterns suitable for status indication
<Example of Use>
■ Automatic and remote control of construction machinery
■ Agricultural machinery requiring vibration resistance and waterproof performance
Flashing signal lights not only enhance safety on construction sites but are also expected to reduce the risk of accidents. Their excellent durability and maintenance-free design further contribute to cost savings.
