The “LR5-LAN” signal tower supports Ethernet (LAN) connectivity. By removing the need for a contact output board and minimizing components and wiring, it enables simpler control and streamlined installation.

• Supports 24V DC power supply via RJ-45 (LAN), reducing cabling requirements

The LR5-LAN offers direct control via Ethernet (LAN), eliminating the need for a contact output board to reduce system components and cut costs. It also supports alarm notifications from SCADA and MES systems and features an automatic command generation tool accessible via a web browser. In addition, the LR5-LAN minimizes wiring requirements and supports flexible power supply options.
Examples of LR5-LAN Network System Applications
The following are examples of how the LR5-LAN can be implemented in factory environments.
■ Retort Food Factory
This factory performs temperature and seal integrity checks, using a three-color signal tower to indicate machine status. Operating data from each machine is transmitted to the control room via LAN. By integrating with the MES system, machine downtime is automatically recorded, helping improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in production operations.
