Custom Made Coupler suitable for industries that require leak tests and a variety of work piece shapes.
Currently, our customers who use a Custom Made Coupler are mainly in 2 industries: Air Conditioning and Automotive. Both industries require a Custom Made Coupler for leak tests. However, since the shape of the interior parts is different according to the air conditioner and the car model, it cannot be used with a Standard type coupler. Therefore, with the difference in shape and other factors such as ease of use, limited space of use, and so on, Custom Made products can meet the needs of use better than the Standard type.
In one air conditioner, it consists of four main parts which are the Compressor, Condenser, Expansion Valve, and Evaporator. To assemble these parts, copper pipes are required for welding. After welding, the quality of the weld must be checked to see if there are any leaks by using a coupler to send pressure into the welding points. In the automotive industry, couplers are used to inspect key parts such as the 1. Engine and engine parts 2. Heat exchange system 3. Air conditioning system inside the car The engine consists of five main parts which are the Engine Block, Intake Manifold, Throttle Body, Cylinder Head, and Head Cover. The heat exchange system consists of four main parts which are the Radiator, Intercooler, Oil Cooler, and Water Pump. The air conditioning system inside the car consists of three main parts which are the Compressor, Condenser, and Evaporator, which is the same as the aforementioned air conditioner. A coupler will check the welding of the parts mentioned above. And there are still other parts of the car that are not mentioned here which also require a leak test before assembly. Currently, production technology is constantly evolving and changing. The air conditioning industry and the automotive industry are also changing rapidly, such as with the use of refrigerants in air conditioners that have developed new forms to solve the problem of global warming, or the use of aluminum pipe instead of copper pipe. Also, in the automobile industry, the demand for electric vehicles (EVs) has been increasing as well.
