A new generation precision die-sinker electric discharge machine (EDM) that combines the electrical discharge control technology and linear motor control technology that SODICK has cultivated over many years, and the latest AI (artificial intelligence). We support precision mold machining and precision parts machining with high acceleration and high response axis control driven by a linear motor and the latest electrical discharge control technology. We have achieved both accuracy and high cost performance that can stably aim at the micron unit.
Die-sinker electric discharge machine AL40G / AL60G
■ In-house developed and manufactured linear motor drive
A 3-axis linear motor that can maintain high speed and high response performance semi-permanently is an ideal drive system. We always provide a safe and secure machining environment.
■ SP power supply installed
Adopting the newly developed "SP Power Supply", communication speed and calculation processing speed are greatly improved. It has become possible to increase the motor response control speed by more than double of before.
■ Supports automation system
We have multiple automation systems, from a simple automation system to a fully automated system using a robot that automatically replaces electrodes and work pieces, meeting the needs for labor saving.
■ Precision correction and various diagnostic functions
In addition to pursuing the rigidity of the machine, the precision correction function "TH COM" is adopted to reduce the amount of thermal displacement of the machine to half that of the conventional machine.
