The SUPEROLL is a roller burnishing tool that presses and levels to smooth metal surfaces with rollers. Here, we would like to introduce the Single Roller Superoll , which is attracting more and more attention among our products.

The theoretical value of surface roughness can be calculated by the following formula, but it is very difficult to achieve both strict surface roughness and dimensions at the same time.

Surface roughness [Rz] theoretical value ＝	F^２	×1000（μm）

F: Feed rate per rotation of workpiece (mm/rev)
R: Dimension of nose R of cutting tip (mm)

Reason 1 : 　The surface roughness deteriorates by the constituent cutting edges
Decreasing the feed speed will reduce the surface roughness, but the slower the feed speed, the more likely it is that condensation will occur, so the machining must be performed at high speed.

Reason 2: 　Cutting tools wear out
When the cutting speed (peripheral speed) is increased, tool life will be significantly reduced due to the rise in cutting temperature. Additionally, lowering the feed rate increases flank wear, which also leads to a shorter tool life.

Therefore, we are proposing the following machining methods.

In the case the Company receives request from the individual user regarding the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or erasure of personal information, stoppage of use by a third party or notification of use, after confirmation that the requester is the individual user, the Company will respond without delay in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.

Note that in the case that the request does not meet the requirements stipulated by the Personal Data Protection Act, or the reason to reject such request is permitted by the Personal Data Protection Act or other laws and regulations, the request may not be fulfilled.
