SMART M/C “X10” is a next-generation machining center that combines Sugino Machine’s proprietary ultra-high-speed cutting technology with automation systems. It achieves both high-speed machining and reduced setup time, increasing milling productivity by up to 10 times. The system enables automation for high-mix, low-volume production and supports long-duration unmanned operation, contributing to improved productivity on the manufacturing floor.

Utilizing dedicated CAM recipes and load-controlled machining programs, the system significantly increases cutting speed and greatly reduces machining time.

By integrating setup reduction, high-speed cutting, and system automation, the X10 aims to achieve up to 10 times the productivity compared to conventional machining processes.
■ Ideal for High-Mix, Low-Volume Production
Machining from solid blocks enables the standardization of fixtures, reducing setup change time and improving efficiency in multi-variety, small-lot production.
■ Supports Long Unmanned Operation
Equipped with a work stock system (up to 25 pieces) and automatic transfer system, enabling unattended operation, including overnight machining.
■ Digitalized Process Management
Process management software allows scheduling control and real-time monitoring of machine operation. The entire process can be visualized from a PC.
