TAKAMAZ Machinery Co., Ltd. (Thailand) supplies precision CNC lathes to Thailand, the ASEAN region and the world. It plans to exhibit its products in "METALEX2019" (scheduled to be held November 20 ～ 23). It will show the latest models of its main precision lathes X series for the first time in Thailand. This time, we interviewed the Managing Director, Mr. Eiji Yamashita, about the featured products and METALEX.

The precision lathe of the latest model with improved operability 「XT-６」will be exhibited at METALEX in Thailand.

XT-６

The XT-６ is the latest model that changed for the first time in ７ years as a successor of the X series, which is one of our main products. It is a CNC 1 spindle 1 turret precision lathe. There are two points that have been realized through the improvement of the model change.

1. The loader can be selected according to user specifications.

An FC loader with touch panel control and ΣiC loader that follows conventional operability are available for mounting, and it becomes possible to select according to specifications. The company is good at its automation system, and while the loader system is an option, many users have purchased the loader specification. The company responded to users’ requests that they would like to choose between FANUC and YASKAWA loader controls.

2. Enhanced IoT options

Equipped with an IoT function which accumulates machine operation information. When a defect occurs during machining, the machining status at that time can be confirmed later. Therefore, it can be used to investigate the cause of the defect. "While improving usability in response to customers’ feedback, there is no change in the machine size, and installation is possible with space-savings," says Mr. Yamashita.

「XTT-500」 a composite precision lathe that utilizes the latest technology, will also be introduced in Thailand for the first time.

Along with the XT-6, "XTT-500" which is the CNC 1 spindle 2 turret precision lathe, will be introduced in Thailand for the first time. It is the most suitable machine for machining the crankshaft, one of the engine components of the automobile. Utilizing the latest technology, the company focuses on "high rigidity and high output", "high maintainability", and "compactness". The upper and lower twin turret reduces the time required for rough finishing and prevents deflection of the work piece, thus enabling high-precision machining.

Propose automation and semi-automation technology of TAKAMAZ Machinery at METALEX.

Mr. Yamashita says that the purpose of this exhibition is "to make sure that everyone who attends the event will become familiar with automation, which is our specialty."

There are concerns about labor shortages and rising wages also in Thailand. "If you use a machine that corresponds to automation and semi-automation, I want to tell the local market the point that leads to labor-savings, such as being able to oversee the work of two machines by one person.". He also stressed that "we also want to meet the needs of customers who want to participate in the METALEX in search of the latest information." The company plans to promote many machines that can be delivered with short delivery times.

The Company will take precautionary measures against the loss, destruction, tampering, and leakage of personal information through appropriate system maintenance of the operating system and education of employees.

Request for Notification, Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use of Personal Information

In the case the Company receives request from the individual user regarding the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or erasure of personal information, stoppage of use by a third party or notification of use, after confirmation that the requester is the individual user, the Company will respond without delay in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.

Note that in the case that the request does not meet the requirements stipulated by the Personal Data Protection Act, or the reason to reject such request is permitted by the Personal Data Protection Act or other laws and regulations, the request may not be fulfilled.

In addition, there is no payment required or fees associated with the request for disclosure by the individual user. However, the cost of communication from the individual user to the Company, transportation expenses, and expenses associated with the preparation of materials for the purposes of individual identification will be the responsibility of the individual user.
