Based in Germany, Takamaz Machinery Europe, the European subsidiary of Takamatsu Machinery, is contributing to manufacturing in France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, and other European countries, with precision CNC lathes as their main item. In this article, we report on the "EMO" show, one of the three major machine tool exhibitions in the world, which we participated in in October, along with the introduction of the machines we exhibited.

"EMO2021", one of the world's three major machine tool exhibitions, was held in Milan, Italy in October. At this event, more than 3,500 machines were exhibited from about 700 exhibitors, and the number of visitors reached about 60,000.

Exhibitors from outside Italy accounted for 60% of the total booths, and visitors from outside Italy accounted for 30% of the total visitors. Despite the fact that the COVID pandemic is still restricting people’s movement and making the situation difficult worldwide, it was a success as an international event and could be a new start for “post-COVID” in the manufacturing industry including machine tools, robots, and automation systems.
Takamatsu Machinery's precision CNC lathes gathered at the EMO show! XW-130 / XW-30P / XT-6 and the new product XT-8MY were presented.

XT-６ / ６-inch TAKAMAZ flagship model CNC lathe
Rapid traverse rate marks the best in its class and can be equipped with 6 power tools. An evolved flagship model lathe with a choice of loading system.
Although we did not have high expectations for this year’s event due to the influence of the pandemic, there were more exhibitors and visitors than we anticipated.
