Takamaz Machinery Europe has been contributing to the European market, where high-level machining technology is being competed on a daily basis, with its precision CNC lathes of Japanese quality. In mid-September, Takamaz exhibited at “AMB2022”, Europe's top-level metalworking exhibition, which was held for the first time in four years after the pandemic, and showcased five types of lathes including new models.

In this article, we would like to introduce the report on the exhibition and our exclusive distributor in Germany.

Europe's top-scale comprehensive machinery (metalworking) trade fair "AMB2022"

"AMB" is Europe's top level comprehensive machinery trade fair after "EMO", one of the world's three major machinery exhibitions. Started in 1982, it has grown into one of the top five major events in the world. Held every two years, it brings together highly skilled manufacturers and industry players from around the world.

In the exhibition, TAKAMAZ products were fully promoted at the booth of WECO, the exclusive distributor in Germany.

WECO and we have known each other for more than 20 years since our entering European market, but until now they have been positioned as sub-dealers. However, since February 2021, WECO has been our exclusive distributor in Germany. We have great confidence in the company because of its familiarity with TAKAMAZ products and the close and good relationships it has built with the customers.

Thanks to WECO's cooperation, in 2021 we achieved the highest sales in TAKAMAZ EU history.

Founded in 1999, WECO has been expanding its machine tool business in Germany, focusing on CNC lathes, machining centers, and automation systems, and has been the exclusive distributor of Takamatsu Machinery in Germany since February 2021.

A total of five models of machines were exhibited.

A new model that is an upgrade of XW30P. This CNC lathe is suitable in small-lot mass-production machining, compact, and excellent in high-speed, high-precision machining. It attracted attention from new and existing users alike.
