UHF band is one of the frequency bands for RFID using Ultra High Frequency (UHF), which is widely used for inventory control and product inspection due to its long communication distance and suitability for batch RFID reading.

Mars Tohken's UHF band RFID-based "Automatic inter-process transfer control system" uses UHF band IC tags attached to trolleys (AGVs) that come and go in the factory to enable automatic transfer to the next process line corresponding to the production item.
