Mars Tohken proposes UHF band RFID solutions to promote inter-process automation and IoT in Thai factories. UHF band is one of the frequency bands for RFID using Ultra High Frequency (UHF), which is widely used for inventory control and product inspection due to its long communication distance and suitability for batch RFID reading.
Mars Tohken's UHF band RFID-based "Automatic inter-process transfer control system" uses UHF band IC tags attached to trolleys (AGVs) that come and go in the factory to enable automatic transfer to the next process line corresponding to the production item.

・ Parts request can be made in real time from a panel computer (tablet terminal).
・ Read the number of the trolley received from the parts warehouse and indicate the destination to the AGV, etc.

This is a self-driven fixed UHF band RFID reader/writer with simple settings that is available in two models: a specified low-power model that does not require a radio station application or a premises radio station (licensed station). No control PC is required in auto mode. Immediately after turning on the power, the IC tag is automatically read and data is transmitted.
