NWFT had originally purchased own pallets and used them, but faced issues such as pallet damage due to age-related deterioration, risk of product contamination, and pallet shortages. Additionally, the process of purchasing new pallets required time for delivery and was not user-friendly. Therefore, the company considered implementing UPR's pallet rental service.

The fork pockets (insertion ports) of the pallets are smooth and free from irregularities, making them convenient for forklift operation. This also helps prevent product falling accidents caused by forks getting caught in the irregularities of pallets.
