In order to make driving cars comfortable and safe in Thailand, Thai Yazaki Network Service develops, sells and implements vehicle operation management systems by using Japanese telematics technology.
In Thailand, inexpensive drive recorders for general drivers are popular.
Unlike commercially available drive recorders which specialize only in image recording, our new devices are characterized by packaging peripherals and software as a vehicle operation management system with data collection and analysis functions for preventive safety of comprehensive driving.▶︎ Concepts of the new product

① DVR (in-vehicle camera)）
Up to 4 cameras can be installed. A lineup of 4 types of cameras. The most suitable camera can be selected according the installation location. The image of the drive recorder can be saved to the SD card as well as be checked in real time.
The camera of the drive recorder displays the image of the blind spot of the car on the monitor in the driver's seat.
Hands-free voice calls can be made between the car and the office.
ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), which assists drivers in safe driving, and DMS (Driver Monitoring System), which is a driving behavior detection system, enhance safety and reduce the risk of causing accidents.
Tire pressure sensors (to be developed), fuel sensors, temperature sensors, external CH sensors, and PTO sensors are prepared

In developing the new device, we entered into a business alliance with DTC Enterprise Co., Ltd. (Headquarter: Bangkok, Thailand), the largest commercial vehicle telematics business in Thailand, to share the platform. This is to maximize the strengths of the company by combining with local Thai companies as customers and with Japanese-affiliated companies in Thailand as customers.
This increases the efficiency and speed of development resources for both companies and enables us to quickly reflect the needs of local Thai and Japanese-affiliated customers.
In addition, this new product anticipates the GPS-related regulations (DLT regulations) scheduled to come into effect in 2021. We will promote a smooth introduction to vehicles subject to the legislation.
