A private show of PT. Takamaz Indonesia was held at its Indonesian office for two days from August 23rd to 24th, 2023. In this article, we will introduce the details of the private show and the "GSL series" precision lathes which are popular in Indonesia.

This year’s private show marked the 8th and was attended by 130 visitors from 60 companies, about 1.5 times more compared to last year. We held a collaboration display with chuck manufacturers using two actual machines: the GSL-10H manual precision lathe for Southeast Asian market and the XTs-6 compact lathe. We also received support from a total of six manufacturers of tools, chucks and other devices, and invited their representatives to exhibit their products at the booth.

A demonstration machine with a custom-made Hainbuch collet chuck attached to the low-priced manual lathe GSL-10H for Southeast Asian market. Heinbuch's quick-change system allows chuck changes to be made quickly, easily and with high precision.

【XTs-6 × kitagawa power chuck】

Kitagawa's power chuck is docked on the compact lathe "XTs-6". Equipped with a loader, this is a semi-automatic specification that automatically feeds and discharges workpieces.

At manufacturing sites in Indonesia, manual machines are still the mainstream due to factors such as low labor costs. The GSL series was developed with the aim of providing high quality manual lathes at low prices to Southeast Asian market. It has been praised for its high durability and ease of use, and a total of 150 units have been sold in Indonesia.
