Thai Hibex exhibited at METALEX 2022. The exhibition attracted a remarkable turnout of approximately 86,000 visitors. In this article, we will introduce the contents and highlights of the exhibition.
Thai Hibex specializes in proposing solution equipment that contributes to automation and semi-automation in the manufacturing processes of various products. The latest automation applications combined with products from six representative partner manufacturers handled by the company were on display, featuring more equipment with more value-added functions such as sensors and cameras than those on display in 2019.

New products: Metal 3D printer & electric screwdriver error-proofing (Poka-yoke) system
In particular, the following two product solutions attracted attention as highlights of the exhibition.
■MELTIO metal 3D printer
This product was launched in the wake of METALEX 2022. A Spanish manufacturer specializing in metal 3D printers, the company's patented multi-laser technology enables 3D modeling with various metal materials such as stainless steel and titanium using general metal wires. It also features compactness and high design quality.
The laser unit alone can also be used. It can also be mounted on an articulated robot to be used as an equipment for modeling larger and more complex workpieces.

■ HIOS electric screwdriver BLG-BC2 error-proofing (Poka-yoke) system
The error-proofing (Poka-yoke) system that is linked to a HIOX electric screwdriver, which has been installed at many manufacturing sites in Thailand, to prevent screws from being forgotten to close or loosen. This device was developed by Thai Hibex by applying the functions of BLG-BC2. Up to four channels can be set on the dedicated controller.
Providing easy-to-implement solutions from the customer's perspective in Thailand, where required quality standards are increasing.
