Kobelco Compressors Co., Ltd. is responsible for the air compressor business within the Kobe Steel Group.
Although the company was established in 1997, the Kobe Steel Group has been engaged in the compressor business for over 100 years. Today, we operate sales and service bases in 10 countries and manufacturing bases in 3 countries, expanding our business globally.
Our products have been supplied to the Vietnamese market since the early 1990s—more than 30 years ago. Currently, approximately 4,000 Kobelco compressors are in operation across Vietnam.
Established in 2011, Kobelco Compressors Vietnam is headquartered in Hanoi, with additional offices in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Hai Phong, providing products and services nationwide.
We place strong emphasis on after-sales service. Of our approximately 80 employees, nearly 50 are dedicated to after-sales support. With specialized staff at each location, we provide preventive maintenance, regular inspections, and repairs directly as the manufacturer through periodic customer visits.

We also focus on providing optimal proposals based on actual operational data through energy-saving diagnostics.
Furthermore, Kobelco compressors have received Japan’s Energy Conservation Award, sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, earning high recognition as a leading manufacturer in the field of energy efficiency.
③ Local Support and After-Sales Service System
Nearly 50 of our approximately 80 employees are engaged in after-sales service. Key personnel receive training at our headquarters in Japan, enabling them to support customers with proven technical expertise.
Our strength lies in directly providing preventive maintenance, periodic inspections, and repairs as the manufacturer. We also maintain stock of ready-to-deliver units, backup machines, and essential spare parts to ensure prompt response.
