The popular robot is the TORIDAS MK-2, a robot that debones chicken legs automatically. Over 1,500 of Toridas units have been installed over 26 countries around the world.

１. TORIDAS MK-2 machine
The robot for deboning the bone in leg (BIL) can operate 4 times faster than speed of humans and are capable of automatically and precisely separating bone and meat. It also ensures high productivity and high quality, and the most important thing is to reduce the number of employees in the production process as well.
It is a machine that can separate the upper part (Front half or full carcass) of a chicken into breast, wings, fillet, and carcass. Thanks to image processing technology that has been used to determine the size of each chicken, Yieldas can debone chicken automatically and precisely. It can also significantly reduce a lot of the workforce in the production process and produce products equal or greater quality than human work. Moreover, the machine works efficiently and stably.
It is a specifically automatic wing stick deboning robot that can produce 2 types of products: deboning wing drumettes (Boneless chicken drumette) and making Tulips (Chicken tulip).
From the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus for a continuous period of up to 2 years, it affects the work in various manufacturing industries, including the fresh chicken industry in Thailand. Due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak, there was a huge labor shortage because some workers were infected with the COVID-19 virus or some had to be quarantined. Foreign workers were also unable to come to work in Thailand. The use of automatic deboning robots is the best solution for such a situation.

Mayekawa service team will train everything from robot configuration, machine operation, and safety systems to cleaning and periodic maintenance of robots, etc.
In terms of providing services to customers who use chicken deboning machines, in addition to the pre-installation and training services to customer companies’ technicians mentioned above, Mayekawa (Thailand) Co., Ltd. also offers a service package for the maintenance of automatic deboning machines as:

Includes service of spare parts for maintenance, maintenance service, machine inspection service and emergency service.

In addition, while waiting for the next round of maintenance, the service team will inspect the robot regularly every 3–4 months to keep the machine running smoothly and maintain the quality of the manufactured products. Technicians are proficient and have an average working experience of not less than 5 years.
Supervisor position staff will be trained in Japan and receive a certificate to certify their skills and knowledge in robot maintenance, as well as the ability to troubleshoot each alarm point.
Since Mayekawa (Thailand) is the sole distributor and after-sales service provider in Thailand, the service team specializes in the maintenance and repair of automatic deboning robots. There is also a yearly test to check the skills of each technician.
We have stock for spare parts in Thailand, so we can support replacement of spare parts for a maximum of 30 machines.
