Our representative, Mr. Kousuke Yamamoto, delivered a presentation at “The Japan-Thailand Business Matching” event held on February 6, 2025. Hosted by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), the event aimed to showcase Japan’s energy-saving technologies to the Thai market and promote business collaboration between Japanese and Thai companies. The event was organized with the support of Mitsubishi Research Institute, Inc. (MRI), a leading Japanese think tank and consulting firm, which served as the event’s secretariat.
The event is held annually with the aim of strengthening business and economic ties between Thailand and Japan, promoting trade, and fostering innovation. Thailand serves as a strategic hub for trade in Southeast Asia and plays a key role, particularly in the manufacturing, agriculture, and service sectors—especially tourism. By combining Thailand’s industrial potential with Japan’s technological expertise, the two countries are expected to cultivate a cooperative relationship that drives greater economic growth and technological advancement.
Mayekawa (Thailand) participated as one of four representative Japanese companies selected by the Mitsubishi Research Institute (MRI) to showcase advanced Japanese energy-saving technologies. Company President Mr. Kosuke Yamamoto took the stage to present Mayekawa’s energy-efficient solutions that leverage renewable energy sources, highlighting key products such as the UNIMO series, ECO-sirocco heat pumps, and ammonia chillers including the mCHILLER FUGU and mCHILLER TAKA.
【Featured Products and Solutions Introduced at the Event】
■ Water-cooled ammonia chiller “mCHILLER FUGU”
■ Air-cooled ammonia chiller "mCHILLER TAKA"
In addition to seminars, the event featured the latest information on Thailand’s energy-saving policies and innovative energy-efficient technologies developed by Japanese companies.
Examples include:
• A condensation heat-release coating treatment that improves energy efficiency and reduces condensation
• An advanced water recycling system that regenerates factory wastewater using specialized activated carbon
By participating in the event, Mayekawa (Thailand) drew significant attention from companies seeking energy-saving solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Mayekawa’s heat pump technology contributes to reduced energy consumption in hot water production for steam generation and sintering processes in the automotive manufacturing sector. It also offers potential applications in the tourism industry, including hotels and other accommodations.
Moving forward, Mayekawa remains committed to promoting energy conservation and supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
