
Since its launch in 2023, the automatic chip compactor “MAS-100,” manufactured and sold by Moretech’s Thailand subsidiary, has received strong interest from Japan, Thailand, and Vietnam, steadily expanding its installation track record. In recent years, many manufacturers have sought to improve the efficiency of existing equipment by upgrading or modifying peripheral devices, rather than making large-scale capital investments. To meet these needs in metalworking environments, we present the enhanced chip compactor “MAS-100,” along with Moretech’s total chip processing solutions.
Nearly three years after launch, the machine has been upgraded based on feedback from customers, alongside a growing number of customization cases, improving usability and maximizing the reuse of metal chips.
【Easy Cycle Time Configuration】
The operating pace can now be freely adjusted, including operating time (timer) and damper cycles. Cycle time adjustments enable flexible operation tailored to on-site conditions.

To prevent vibration-related malfunctions during 100-ton compression, both sensor accuracy and the machine structure have been reinforced, ensuring stable performance under high-pressure conditions.

✓ Industry-leading 100-ton compression force
With a powerful 100-ton compression force, the MAS-100 delivers significantly higher compression performance than typical competing machines (40–60 tons). It reliably compresses not only aluminum and copper, but also steel-based chips and sludge that are difficult to compact.
✓ Space saving and reduced logistics costs through a high volume-reduction ratio
Compression reduces the volume of metal chips to between one-fifth and as little as one-fiftieth of their original size, significantly reducing storage space requirements, transportation frequency, and disposal and processing costs.

✓ Cutting oil recovery rate of 95% or higher
Over 95% of cutting oil (coolant) contained in metal chips is recovered during compression. The recovered coolant can be reused, delivering both environmental benefits and cost savings—such as lower coolant purchase costs, prevention of oil leakage, and reduced floor contamination and odors in the factory.

✓ Nearly 100% yield during remelting
High-density briquetting suppresses oxidation and material loss during remelting, achieving a nearly 100% material yield. This increases scrap value and helps reduce raw material costs.
✓ Compatible with a wide range of materials and processing volumes
Supports a variety of metal chips, including cast iron, stainless steel, SS steel, SUJ2 sludge, and aluminum.
With a processing capacity of up to 125 kg per hour* per material, it ensures stable operation even in high-volume production environments.
