Takamatsu Machinery, a precision CNC lathe manufacturer in Japan, established its Vietnamese subsidiary in Ho Chi Minh City in 2017. The company provides services to customers throughout Vietnam from two locations, including its Hanoi branch. In addition to product sales, we strive to provide the same high quality after-sales service to our customers as we do in Japan. Although only Japanese-affiliated companies used our products when we first started up, we have now delivered more and more products to local Vietnamese companies, and many of our customers have given high marks to the “GSL series”. In the ASEAN market, relying solely on the selling points of "Made in Japan" and the "TAKAMAZ brand" has proven to be challenging. The primary reason for this is pricing. Especially in Vietnam, the machine had to be cost competitive against lathes made in other countries such as Taiwan and South Korea. The GSL series was developed by TAKAMAZ with the Southeast Asian market as its main target.

We add various specifications according to customer needs and workpieces to be machined. In addition, we are a manufacturer that specializes in automation of machine operation. However, in the GSL series, no additional automation is equipped. Optional specifications that can be added are collet device, automatic door, and chip conveyor made by TAKAMAZ. In order to achieve both "Made in Japan quality and low cost", it is a machine that has only the specifications necessary for machining. Although it has a simple and compact structure, it ergonomically positions the control panel at the optimum height to allow work to be performed in a comfortable posture. It is designed for ease of workpiece loading and operability, and fully meets quality standards of the TAKAMAZ brand.

In Vietnam, manual machines are the mainstream. Among them, the GSL-10H is particularly successful.

The GSL series has two models, GSL-10H and GSL-15PLUS , the main difference is the chuck size. Both models are manual machines. Among the ASEAN countries, they have sold well in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and India, and are considered to be particularly suitable machines for current Vietnamese users. The reason for this is that in countries with high labor costs such as Europe, the U.S., and Japan, automation of production is the norm, but in Vietnam, we believe that there are still many customers who use manual machines that are operated by people. Machine sales to Vietnam currently total just under 1,000 units, of which 20% are GSL series. In particular, sales of the GSL-10H, a 6-inch chuck size, are on a growing trend. Many of our machines are delivered to users who produce automobile parts and motorcycle parts, and they are often used for machining engine and transmission components. In Outside of the automotive industry, our customers also use our products for sewing machine parts, hydraulic parts for construction machinery, and other applications.

The GSL series can handle mass production, single-part production, and small-lot production, and is easy to maintain even without engineering expertise. We often hear from users who have actually installed the machines that they have had no breakdowns and production has been stable.

We also offer preliminary studies prior to machine installation. Request for Notification, Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use of Personal Information

In the case the Company receives request from the individual user regarding the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or erasure of personal information, stoppage of use by a third party or notification of use, after confirmation that the requester is the individual user, the Company will respond without delay in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.

In addition, there is no payment required or fees associated with the request for disclosure by the individual user. However, the cost of communication from the individual user to the Company, transportation expenses, and expenses associated with the preparation of materials for the purposes of individual identification will be the responsibility of the individual user.
