“Re : DX” – Unlock Your Automated Warehouse System for Low-Cost Upgrades and Renovations
Developed by APT, Re : DX is an original service designed to address the long-standing black box issue in the automated warehouse industry. By reusing and revitalizing aging automation equipment in factories and distribution centers, Re : DX enables cost-effective system upgrades, enhances operational efficiency, and extends equipment lifecycle.
Compared to conventional manufacturer-led approaches, the Re : DX model offers an open system architecture that empowers users with more choices, enhanced transparency, and significantly reduced renovation costs. It also enables users to manage and operate their automated warehouse systems in-house. There are proven cases in which renovations and system expansions using the Re : DX approach were completed at approximately half the cost of proposals from major manufacturers.
To date, APT has successfully opened up around 500 automated warehouse systems in Japan, with growing adoption in Thailand as well. Demand for this approach is expected to increase not only in Japan, but also across international markets.
Currently, APT is the only company in Japan successfully operating under this business model. With a workforce of 70 employees, approximately 60% are engineers dedicated to system development.
