This is the fifth time we have participated in METALEX, an international trade fair for machine tools. This time, we launched two products as main items and exhibited for customers.

"Rotary cathode-type arc PVD coating furnace" that greatly improves qualities such as heat resistance, wear resistance and cutting performance

One of the products exhibited is the coating equipment "Arc-type PVD Coating Furnace" manufactured by Platit, Switzerland. It is an equipment to coat surfaces of cutting tools, molds and functional parts. This is the first time it was exhibited at METALEX. Tools worn during the production process cannot be used in the next process unless polished or surface-treated. On the other hand, if they are outsourced each time, the time and cost will increase accordingly. This equipment solves such problems at once and lets the process be done in-house.

The surface treatment is made of pure metal materials such as titanium, aluminum, and chromium, and enables arbitrary control of the composition ratio by a computer program. This has made it possible to achieve high quality coatings on your own. Platit's diversified equipment is one that can handle a contract coating business.
