This is the fifth time we have participated in METALEX, an international trade fair for machine tools. This time, we launched two products as main items and exhibited for customers.

"Rotary cathode-type arc PVD coating furnace" that greatly improves qualities such as heat resistance, wear resistance and cutting performance

One of the products exhibited is the coating equipment "Arc-type PVD Coating Furnace" manufactured by Platit, Switzerland. It is an equipment to coat surfaces of cutting tools, molds and functional parts. This is the first time it was exhibited at METALEX. Tools worn during the production process cannot be used in the next process unless polished or surface-treated. On the other hand, if they are outsourced each time, the time and cost will increase accordingly. This equipment solves such problems at once and lets the process be done in-house.

The surface treatment is made of pure metal materials such as titanium, aluminum, and chromium, and enables arbitrary control of the composition ratio by a computer program. This has made it possible to achieve high quality coatings on your own. Platit's diversified equipment is one that can handle a contract coating business.

The other is the IB Spindle, a 4 times speed rotating tool for CNC automatic lathes developed by Suzuki Precision Company (Tochigi Prefecture). Just by attaching to a lathe with one touch, small diameter end milling and high speed drilling can be performed optimally. Driving is 4 times faster. Mass production is possible. Three types are available from Star Precision, Citizen, and Tsugami, lathes which are widely distributed in the market. It is a fine product committed to ease of use for end users.

Create an organization that can accurately grasp market needs and respond to the growth of Southeast Asia

In the Thai market, we have established a local subsidiary for the purpose of providing support to our customers as they enter the Thai market. Our main role is to supplement small-scale peripheral equipment in the production process. We will continue to provide detailed product introductions while accurately grasping market needs.

International markets are chaotic due to problems such as the US-China trade dispute. Corporate production activity will leave China and eventually shift to Southeast Asia, especially Thailand. Being able to become a hub for that is the biggest challenge Thailand is now facing. While having a keen eye to forecast the future, we want to create an organization that can respond to the growth of ASEAN.
