■Thermo-Jack Freezer
IQF freezer for food industry such as for marine products and fruits & vegetables. It can reduce the freezing time of food products by 50-60% compared to conventional systems. Mayekawa displayed a demonstration unit so that visitors could see and check the freezing efficiency of various foods.

■Toridas
An automatic deboning robotic for bone-in chicken thighs recommended for the meat processing industry. The work speed is four times that of manpower, shortening work time, saving labor, and improving hygiene in processing operation. This product will help solve the problems of the food processing industry, which is suffering from a serious labor shortage.

■ Ice cutter from Akiyama Machinery
Mayekawa, which has supplied many refrigeration compressors to ice making factories in Thailand, has started handling ice cutters from Akiyama Machinery in Japan as a new product for ice factories. The lineup includes two types: the cubic ice cutter "Manual Cubic Ice Cutter MQI2" and the ice ball making machine "Ice Ball Cutter IB6".

■ Innovative data storage system (SCADA system)
The SCADA system is a data storage system that uses analysis data extracted from machines to improve production lines, solve problems, and predict the timing of machine maintenance. It can be used in conjunction with Mayekawa's products to improve production efficiency.

Contributing to solving labor shortages at food processing sites and issues in data collection

In the food industry and food processing factories, which are Mayekawa's main customer base, are faced with chronic labor shortages, and labor saving and improvement of production efficiency are elements that are always in demand.

"Due to the labor shortage caused by the Covid pandemic, there is a growing trend in the food industry and meat processing facilities to consider automation (implementation of machines) in the production process. Particularly in the poultry processing industry, chicken deboning requires skilled techniques, so the introduction of automatic deboning and bone removal equipment can significantly alleviate the labor shortage.

However, SMEs often do not have sufficient funds to make capital investments, and it is Mayekawa's future challenge to search for solutions that meet demand based on such circumstances.
