Discovering a new usage for 'FILSTAR' and establishing a foothold in ASEAN countries

FILSTAR the industrial filtration device that removes impurities with its unique water flow control, was introduced to the Thai market six years ago. Until now, with the automobile-related industry as the main focus, it has been used as a peripheral device for machine tools or as a cleaning device for precision parts in a wide range of applications, and has made a lot achievements and received many high evaluations.

FILSTAR is element-less, that is, it does not emit industrial waste and does not require any troublesome maintenance, so that the running cost is zero. In this aspect, we have been contributing to quality improvement and cost reduction as well for many manufacturing companies.

In 2020, as a new starting point, we would like to position the next 10 years as a development period to expand FILSTAR’s possibility and future potential in other different industries.

For example, FILSTAR does not use any additives for wastewater treatment. Given this high level of safety, it is perfectly possible to convert it into wastewater treatment in food and beverages factories. It is capable of safely washing foods such as vegetables and separating unnecessary substances from liquids. In fact, we have been receiving such inquiries.

In addition, due to the growing awareness of consciousness for health and youth, there is likely to be room for FILSTAR to play an active role in the medical and cosmetics/beauty industries, where the market is expected to expand with growing demand for high added values. To be specific, there are uses for removing impurities in the manufacturing process and for the cleaning process of containers.

Such an expansion and widening of target industries is also possible in Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines, where industrialization is advancing and consumption populations are high, like in Thailand. We position our Thai subsidiary as a hub of ASEAN and are going to establish a system for sales expansion to these countries within the year.

The recent new coronavirus is going to make a drastic change to the mechanism and way of manufacturing and consumption in society that we have built up to date. We are keenly aware that there is a demand for "something" different from what we have been doing before. The same applies to FILSTAR, and there must be uses and utilizations that are different from the conventional ones. We would like to discover that together with the needs of our customers and contribute to many other industries.

Through collaboration with various government agencies and support desks as well as exhibitions, and individual visits to customers, we would like to explore the path we should proceed on after the coronavirus pandemic.

Management of Personal Information

The Company will maintain the accuracy of personal information and manage it safely.
The Company will take appropriate security measures to prevent the loss, destruction, tampering or leakage of personal information.
The Company will take precautionary measures against the loss, destruction, tampering, and leakage of personal information through appropriate system maintenance of the operating system and education of employees.

Request for Notification, Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use of Personal Information

In the case the Company receives request from the individual user regarding the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or erasure of personal information, stoppage of use by a third party or notification of use, after confirmation that the requester is the individual user, the Company will respond without delay in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.

Note that in the case that the request does not meet the requirements stipulated by the Personal Data Protection Act, or the reason to reject such request is permitted by the Personal Data Protection Act or other laws and regulations, the request may not be fulfilled.

In addition, there is no payment required or fees associated with the request for disclosure by the individual user. However, the cost of communication from the individual user to the Company, transportation expenses, and expenses associated with the preparation of materials for the purposes of individual identification will be the responsibility of the individual user.

Revision of Privacy Policy: The Company will review the operational status of the handling of personal information and make efforts for continuous improvement, and may change the Policy as necessary. After such changes to the Policy, the Policy will be published on the Company’s website.
