Efforts to introduce the element-less filter ‘FILSTAR’ to the food industry, medical equipment industry, and power plants

Chompoo san, may we ask you what kind of work do you do at industria (Thailand)?　

Right after I completed my bachelor's degree at Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-ok in 2015, I enrolled at Sripathum University to pursue my master's degree. Since I started working at industria (Thailand) in 2017, I have been responsible for various tasks such as coordinating with customers, introducing products, testing products, checking machines, solving basic problems of sites, and preparing documents.

FILSTAR is mainly used in automobile parts manufacturing factories, but we heard that you are going to explore new fields in the future. Could you tell us how FILSTAR can be used in other fields?

In Thailand, FILSTAR is widely used in the automotive industry. In terms of percentage, it accounts for 85% of the total manufacturing industry. Other than that, we also deliver to machine tool manufacturers.

Due to the global corona pandemic, the automobile industry has been stagnant for some time, so we are looking to expand the sales channels to new customers in industries such as food processing, pharmaceuticals, agricultural equipment and tools, medical equipment, and power plants.

For example, in Japan, many food processing factories have already implemented FILSTAR. We would like to first develop customers in the food industry in Thailand like in Japan. There are a number of food processing factories in Samut Sakhon and Samut Songkhram provinces, so we would start there.At food processing factories, filters from various companies are used to filtrate food waste that accumulates in sewage treatment tanks.

Since stainless steel SUS 304 is used for the main body of FILSTAR, it is very resistant to rust and corrosion, so it is a product that can be used satisfactorily even in the food industry that requires a hygienic environment. In addition, since there is no need to replace the element, even when filtering food waste, it requires less maintenance than other filters.

Are there any other industries besides food processing where FILSTAR could be useful?

Currently, we are looking into hydropower plants in Thailand. There are about 78 power plants in Thailand. River water is used in the process of power generation, but since this water is mixed with stones and sand, it cannot be used as it is, filtration by FILSTAR is useful and ideal. Other filters require frequent replacement, but as FILSTAR is element-less, it can be used continuously without worrying about the filter replacement.

Although FILSTAR is being used in many countries, it has not been used yet in power plants. If I can get it started, it would be an important step in the growth of our company, and I feel it is a very rewarding task!

This Corona pandemic has been very difficult for me as a sales representative! Even if I wanted to go visit customers for business, as all outsiders were shut out, I couldn't meet the person in charge, and it was painful not being able to go outside.

From now on, I expect that the EEC project promoted by the government will assist many industries. In particular, if the automobile industry regains its vitality, I believe that automobile parts manufacturers and others will invest in equipment and make improvements, such as expanding production lines. In addition, there is a global trend for companies to address environmental issues, so FILSTAR, which assists in production lines as an environmental measure, should attract more attention than ever.

Management of Personal Information

The Company will maintain the accuracy of personal information and manage it safely.
The Company will take appropriate security measures to prevent the loss, destruction, tampering or leakage of personal information.
The Company will take precautionary measures against the loss, destruction, tampering, and leakage of personal information through appropriate system maintenance of the operating system and education of employees.

Request for Notification, Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use of Personal Information

In the case the Company receives request from the individual user regarding the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or erasure of personal information, stoppage of use by a third party or notification of use, after confirmation that the requester is the individual user, the Company will respond without delay in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.

Note that in the case that the request does not meet the requirements stipulated by the Personal Data Protection Act, or the reason to reject such request is permitted by the Personal Data Protection Act or other laws and regulations, the request may not be fulfilled.

In addition, there is no payment required or fees associated with the request for disclosure by the individual user. However, the cost of communication from the individual user to the Company, transportation expenses, and expenses associated with the preparation of materials for the purposes of individual identification will be the responsibility of the individual user.

Revision of Privacy Policy: The Company will review the operational status of the handling of personal information and make efforts for continuous improvement, and may change the Policy as necessary. After such changes to the Policy, the Policy will be published on the Company’s website.
